Carers

Are you a caregiver or someone who receives care? Do you look after someone who relies on your support, or are you the one being cared for?

It’s essential for caregivers to stay healthy and well. We want to assist caregivers in any way we can, but we can only provide help if you identify yourself and register as a caregiver.

According to NHS guidelines, all GPs are required to maintain a register of caregivers. This helps identify caregivers and their specific needs, ensuring that support can be provided when necessary. If you’re caring for a family member, friend, or neighbor who depends on your assistance, the person you’re caring for may have a disability, a serious physical or mental illness, or be in frail health, and they can be of any age.

Please register with us as a carer by collecting up the carers form from the surgery reception.
